These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you (and, if applicable, the company you represent, "you" or "Customer") and contradish, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("contradish," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of contradish.com and the contradish paraphrase-robustness and policy-consistency testing service (the "Service"). By creating an account, submitting content for evaluation, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
contradish tests an AI system's responses to semantically equivalent, differently-phrased versions of the same question, and reports where that system's answers become inconsistent. The output may include a consistency score, a failure inventory, and a downloadable PDF and/or JSON report ("Reports").
To use most of the Service you must create an account with an email address, password, and basic profile information (name and company). You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us right away at hello@contradish.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
"Customer Content" means the policies, prompts, model endpoints, documentation, or other materials you submit to the Service to be tested. You retain all rights in Customer Content. You grant contradish a limited license to use, process, and store Customer Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service and to generate your Reports. We do not use your Customer Content to train models offered to other customers, and we do not include it in any public dataset (such as the CAI-Bench benchmark on Hugging Face) unless you separately and explicitly opt in.
Where we ask you to sign a mutual NDA before an evaluation begins, that NDA governs the confidentiality of Customer Content in addition to this section.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service to test systems you don't have the right to test; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; (c) submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share with us; or (d) misrepresent contradish Reports as independent third-party certification unless we've agreed to that in writing.
contradish is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we'll give you advance notice before any fees apply to your account, and continuing to use paid features after that notice constitutes acceptance of the applicable fees.
contradish owns all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its methodology, software, and the "contradish" name and marks. Aside from the license you grant us in Section 3, nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you, and nothing transfers any of your intellectual property (including Customer Content) to us.
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services we don't control, including our public community Slack workspace, Hugging Face (where we publish the CAI-Bench dataset), LinkedIn, and YouTube. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not this document.
THE SERVICE AND ANY REPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. A Report describes what contradish observed during testing; it is not legal advice, and it does not itself certify compliance with any law, regulation, or standard.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTRADISH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. CONTRADISH'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID CONTRADISH IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) $100.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service, with reasonable notice where practical.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
